A MOTORCYCLIST died in an incident on the A3102 Calne bypass this morning.
He is believed to have suffered fatal injuries when he came off his bike at about 6am today.
The road was closed in both directions from Stanier Road to School Lane, near Porte Marsh Industrial Estate, for more than four hours.
Calne Police were advising motorists to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
It is not thought that any other vehicles were involved in the incident.
