FROZEN’S Elsa and Anna were seen in Urchfont on Sunday as children dressed up for a fundraising event.

A special sing–a-long screening of Frozen was held in Urchfont Village Hall and had more than 90 children belting out their favourite songs from the hit animated film.

The afternoon was organised by Urchfont Preschool, along with Urchfont Village Hall, to raise money for new preschool equipment.

Committee chairman Sarah Lee said: “The children all looked wonderful and everyone had a fantastic time.

“We had more than 90 people at the screening and raised almost £200, which is more than we could have hoped for.

“It was nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon with all the children, and even some adults, singing along to all the words.”

Mrs Lee said the most popular costumes were of main characters Elsa and Anna, but Olaf the snowman was also a firm favourite among the boys.

The money raised will now pay for a new playhouse for the pre-school at Cuckoo Corner.
