The Stroke Association Supercar Saturday returns to the Castle Combe circuit on Saturday, giving the chance for racing fans to drive round the main race track in a top car with a professional driver.

Past events have seen cars including a 1964 Ferrari 250 GT Lusso, Lamborghini Gallardo, Porsche 997 Turbo and Lotus Exige.

They have also been attended by top drivers from the world of motorsport including Anthony Reid, Simon Tilling and James Weaver. 

Visitors will be able to meet the drivers, get up close to the cars and watch all the action. The drivers have offered their time and cars to help raise funds to support thousands of people whose lives have been turned upside down by stroke.

A stroke is a brain attack which happens when the blood supply to the brain is cut off, caused by a clot or bleeding in the brain.

This year marks is the 20th anniversary of the Castle Combe circuit.

Amy Binley, of the Stroke Association in the South West, said: “Supercar Saturday is not only an important way to raise vital funds and help conquer stroke, but it also gives car enthusiasts the chance to drive full throttle in amazing cars at affordable prices.”

Supercar Saturday starts at 10am and will finish around 5pm.

Admission is £5 for adults,£2.50 for OAPs and children under 16 are admitted free.

Ride pricess start at £25 upwards and entry to the Autosolo competition costs £20.
