We are looking for people to tell us what they think about the Gazette & Herald to help us shape its future.

The Gazette is always looking to improve the service we provide our readers. We listen to all the feedback we receive and attempt to incorporate ideas and suggestions into Wiltshire's favourite weekly paper.

To assist us even further we are asking readers to come along and take part in one of two reader panels next month in Devizes and Chippenham.

They will be held at the Bear Hotel, Devizes, on Monday, December 10, from 6.30 to 8.30pm and at The Angel Hotel, Chippenham, on Tuesday, December 11 from  6.30pm to 8.30pm.

We will provide tea, coffee and biscuits and each panel member will be paid £20 as a thank you.

Gazette editor Gary Lawrence said: "Our readers are our lifeblood and I know that they care very much about their paper and what goes in it.

"I am really keen to find out what they think of it, what they think should be in it and what shouldn't.

"The Gazette team works very hard every week to make the paper as good as it can be. I'm sure the feedback from these panels will help us to do that even more successfully."

The panel discussions will be led by an experienced co-ordinator and participants will only be required to give us their honest opinions about the paper.

To apply to be a panel member email by clicking here or by writing to Pauline Howard, Gazette & Herald Reader Panel, 100 Victoria Road, Swindon SN13BE. Or call (01793) 501843.

Make sure you tell us your name, address and let us have a daytime contact number.
