The Western Players’ production, at The Arts Centre in Swindon’s Old Town, November 10-13, is Bequest to the Nation by Terence Rattigan.
The play features Admiral Nelson, his mistress Emma Hamilton, and his wife Frances. The title reflects Nelson’s bequest at his death – his beloved Emma and their child Horatia.
Tony Manders plays Nelson; Shirley Dodson is his mistress, Emma Hamilton, and Gail Sinden is Frances, Lady Nelson.
Others in the cast are Roger Trayhurn, Jane Weston, Max Curtis, Zahra McCallum, Laura Keogh, Susan Pearson, Robert Elrick, Richard Wilbourne, Godfrey Room, Tom Freegard, Terry Pidgeon and Anne Newton.
