A PARK South mum is putting her fear of heights to one side in a bid to send her daughter to a world-renowned autism treatment centre.
Julie Rose, 26, of Oldlands Walk, is planning to take to the skies for a sponsored tandem skydive so she can send seven-year-old Chloe to America for treatment.
Chloe attends the Chalet School in Liden, but Julie and her partner Robin want to raise £20,000 to send her to the the Son-Rise Program in Massachusetts.
"I'm petrified of heights, but my dad phoned me and said he had booked me a place on a skydive and paid for it," explained Julie.
"I had no choice after that, but we're doing really well and we've got lots of sponsorship already from family and friends.
Julie will be free falling from 13,000ft at Cirencester on Saturday, April 8.
Anyone who would like to sponsor her or would like to make a donation to her appeal, can call her on 07796 390350.
The Son-Rise programme is at the Autism Treatment Center.
