Marks & Spencer is set to unveil its new-look store in Swindon a week today.
Manager Richard Aird will cut a ribbon to open the redesigned store at 10am and invite customers to join the celebration with a complimentary glass of champagne.
The 45,000 sq ft shop will incorporate initiatives in line with Plan A, M&S' 100-point, five-year 'eco' plan, including a new staff shower to encourage employees to cycle to the store rather than drive.
In addition, 80% of all construction waste materials will be recycled.
The M&S Caf , which has increased in size from 80 to 128 seats, will serve a choice of hot and cold refreshments, including Fairtrade tea and coffee served by specially trained baristas.
The Food Hall will include a Hot Food To Go section for the first time and a brand-new bakery will offer a selection of freshly baked breads and pastries.
The re-designed store will also offer an increased choice across the per una range in womenswear.
Richard Aird, Marks & Spencer Swindon Store manager, said: "Our re-designed stores are always very popular with customers and we are delighted to be bringing our latest signature style, along with some fantastic new features to our store in Swindon.
"We are particularly excited about our new and improved M&S Caf which will offer shoppers a great place to meet friends or relax with a coffee."
