A teenager who admitted supplying drugs has had his sentence delayed so he can go on a family holiday.
Joshua Osman admitted a string of drugs offences as well as having a weapon which discharges a noxious gas or liquid when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court on Friday.
But when Judge Douglas Field said his case would be adjourned for sentence until Friday August 15 the 19-year-old's solicitor asked for more time.
Andrew Hobson, defending, said "The defendant is due to go on a pre-booked family holiday. The dates are August 6 to August 15.
"Would your honour be able to put the matter back a week to allow him to be able to get back from holiday."
Allowing him to go away the judge said "You have caught me on a good day. August 22."
Osman, of Tithe Barn Crescent, Old Town, pleaded guilty to having cannabis with intent to supply when he was arrested on Tuesday September 25 last year.
He also admitted supplying the drug between Tuesday May 1 and his arrest and possessing cocaine and the prohibited weapon.
The case was adjourned to Friday August 22 so the probation service can compile a pre-sentence report and he was released on bail.
