Say a big hello to the high life

A WORLD famous magazine has said a big Hello! to Miss Swindon.

Rebecca Cole, 23, is now fully prepared for the final of Miss England after being part of a recent photoshoot with fellow finalists.

The blonde from Stratton is pictured wearing a white bikini, in the glossy magazine.

She can be seen on front row among the 50 beauties who are all vying for the title on July 18.

"I'm really excited and looking forward to the final," said Rebecca.

"Although at the same time I was a little nervous.

"But I want to do it for Swindon and put it on the map.

"The whole of Swindon is behind me and it would be great to win it.

"The photoshoot gave me an impression of what to expect as it was at the Troxy theatre in East London, where the final will be held.

"I think it seats 1,000 people plus the VIPs tables so it'll be a big audience.

"It's massive and 10 times bigger than the Wyvern.

"I would be too old to enter the competition next year so I'm making the most of it now."

Rebecca, who was made redundant from her medical legal post in West Swindon on Friday, went to the pre-gathering with her mum Benita.

Although not overawed by the experience, Miss Swindon says she has some hot competition.

"I was a little nervous but everyone seemed really nice," she said.

"There was a bit of people checking the competition out.

"It was a little like being back at school again.

"It felt a bit uncomfortable but I wanted to make an effort to talk to everyone."

Rebecca will be wearing a sparkly dress on stage during the final donated free by ladies' eveningwear specialists Carriages At Three, located in Cirencester.

She is keeping the dress a secret but says it has the wow factor.

"A big thank you to for providing me my dress and also to Nine who are my sponsors," she added.

"I loved picking it - I was like a child in a sweet shop trying them all on."

The Miss England final will see competitors whittled down from 50 to 20 and then to the top five.

The overall winner will then be selected.
