INDIE band Scouting For Girls are coming to Swindon.
They will be appearing at the Oasis on November 12.
Coun Justin Tomlinson, the council's cabinet member for leisure, culture and recreation, said: "It's fantastic that once again we have secured a high profile act at the Oasis in what I'm sure will be a sell out.'' The London-based band formed three years ago and consists of frontman Roy Stride, Greg Churchouse on drums and Peter Ellard on bass guitar.
Scouting for Girls debut album is self-titled and went platinum.
It has sold more than 500,000 copies and reached number one in the UK in January.
Tickets for the Swindon gig are £17.50 plus a £2.50 booking fee and go on sale today at 9am.
