Accident in Wroughton

Two people are in hospital after a driver lost control on Wharf road in Wroughton on Tuesday at 8:25 pm.

A Wiltshire police spokesperson said the blue Corsa rolled and came to rest on its roof.

Ambulance crews were called and both occupants have been taken to the Great Western hospital in Swindon.

The driver is said to have serious head injuries. There is no word on the condition of the passenger.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to PC Rosier at Swindon Gable Cross Police station.
