Still time to sign up for Lydiard Park jog

With just one week to go until the Hearts First Lydiard Park Jog, organisers are reminding potential participants that there is still time to sign up, have fun and help save the lives of people living with heart disease in Wiltshire.

The British Heart Foundation (BHF) event takes place on Sunday 24th February at 11am and costs £10 in advance (£5 for under 16's), and £15 on the day (£5 for under 16's).

Under 16's are welcome if they are fully supervised at all times by a parent or guardian. There will be a prize for the individual participant and the team that raises the highest amount of sponsorship and returns it to us by 30 May.

Call us free on 0800 652 5818, email us on HYPERLINK "mailto:swestevents@bhf.org.uk" swestevents@bhf.org.uk or visit www.bhf.org.uk/swindon for more information about how you can get involved.

Andy Coles, BHF Event Organiser, said: "The support of people in Wiltshire is vital because across the UK, almost 600 sons, daughters, mothers, fathers and friends lose their lives to heart and circulatory disease every day. The charity is committed to preventing lives being devastated by the disease and its research has helped save many lives but it needs ongoing support.

"Have fun and get your own heart pumping by taking part in our Hearts First Lydiard Park Jog. There is something for everyone, so sign up today - your money will help save lives in Wiltshire."

The Hearts First Lydiard Park Jog is suitable for families and running enthusiasts alike. It offers a choice of 3, 6 or 9k routes through the beautiful grounds and parkland of the historic House.

By challenging yourself and taking part in this BHF jog, your sponsorship will help the BHF save and improve the lives of the millions of men, women and children affected by heart disease.
