Schools urged to take advantage of free chess set offer

Why not apply for a chess set and start a game at your school
Holloid Plastics Ltd is sponsoring 250,000 chess sets to be distributed to schools throughout England, in an effort to promote interest in chess.
Michael Wills, MP for North Swindon, today urged Swindon's schools to take advantage of the offer by applying through his office in Swindon.
Holloid made the offer at a recent meeting in the House of Commons. The distribution will be made in parcels of 10 chess sets on a first come first served basis.
