Teenager attacked youth and stole mobile phone

A teenager has admitting attacking a youth in the street before taking his mobile phone.

Elrick Sinclair punched his victim and then kicked him as he lay on the ground during the attack on Saturday July 28.

The 18-year-old, who was with another attacker who has not been caught, then took the victim's Samsung mobile phone.

Sinclair, of Rushton Road, Park South, had been charged with robbery but pleaded not guilty to the allegation last year.

However on the day the case was listed for trial at Swindon crown court he admitted causing grievous bodily harm and theft.

Sinclair was released on bail to Friday February 29 when he is due to be sentenced for the two offences.
