Police execute firearms warrants in Swindon

Police executed two firearms warrants in Swindon, yesterday morning.

The warrants were issued for residences in Elborough road area, Morden and Farmer crescent, Groundwell, Swindon.

As a result police recovered a BB gun and arrested a woman, 29, on suspicion of possession of cannabis.

Police Sgt. Kilgour said: "No one should underestimate our commitment to keeping Swindon a safe place to be and in particular our commitment to remove firearms from public circulation."
