Drivers who park in disabled bays at Asda will face fines of £60 if they fail to display the relevant badge.
The new fines, trialled in Liverpool will take effect at Asda's North Orbital road store and West Swindon store on February 4.
Special parking wardens will first ask patrons to move and if they refuse they will be fined.
Spokesman Paul Hedley said: "This is not about attendants hiding in bushes. It's about being fair and using a common sense approach."
Mr Hedley said that during a trial in Liverpool they were issuing on average one ticket per store per week.
Asda will donate profits from the fines to baby charity Tommy's and the Motability car scheme for the disabled.
