Open house for Barnfield road residents

A development company has submitted a planning application for a foodstore and non-food retail units at Barnfield Road, Swindon.

On Thursday 31st January from 11am to 7pm residents are invited to learn about shopping at the Lidl Open Day Event.

A company spokesperson said: "The event is to allow traders and residents the opportunity to discuss any aspect of the proposed development."

He also added: " We see this part of Swindon as having limited food retail choice with its residents having to travel to our store on Chapel Street to achieve quality choice and value. "

The Open Day Event will be held at the Rodbourne Methodist Church, Rodbourne Road, Swindon, where plans for the site can be viewed, a selection of the products sold in the stores can be sampled and property and sales teams will be available to answer questions.
