Pensioner is mugged

An elderly woman was mugged as she walked to the shops yesterday.
The 79-year-old pensioner's purse was taken at 9.30am in Dalton Road, Penhill, Swindon.
Police are appealing for witnesses as the elderly woman shouted at her attacker.
The thief is described a under five foot, slim and was wearing a dark hooded top.
The victim was left shaken but did not sustain any injuries.
