TAGGERS caught on camera defacing a Swindon subway are being hunted by police.
The young pair were snapped scrawling on walls in a subway running under Swindon Road in Stratton St Margaret.
In one of the pictures one of the youths seems to be capturing his handiwork on a mobile phone.
Now police are appealing for help to trace the two youngsters.
The offence occurred on Wednesday, October 24 last year.
It is thought that the criminal damage happened just after 3pm.
The paint used was dark coloured and was sprayed on the walls of the subway.
PC Becky Smart is investigating the offence.
"These are quite clear images which we hope can help identify the two youths," she said.
"I am keen to hear from anyone with information.
"Graffiti affects all local residents and visitors to the area.
"But by working in co-operation we can act to eradicate these offences."
The first youth was wearing a white three-quarter length hooded coat and distressed blue jeans.
He was also wearing a white baseball cap and trainers.
The second youth caught on the cameras was also wearing blue jeans and dark trainers.
He had a black baseball hat and was wearing a dark top.
Police think the youngsters are in their mid teens and are probably from the Stratton area.
Anyone who can help identify the pair, or who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, is asked to contact PC Smart on 0845 408 7000.
Or call Crimestoppers to leave information anonymously on 0800 555 111.
