Michael Wills, MP for North Swindon, and Anne Snelgrove, MP for South Swindon are holding a public meeting on Friday, 11 January 2008 to discuss the EU Treaty.
The meeting will be at 6:00pm at the Pilgrim Centre, Regent Circus, Swindon SN1 1PX.
They have invited Councillor Justin Tomlinson and Robert Buckland, the Conservatives Party's Parliamentary Candidates for North and South Swindon to participate so that residents are able to hear views from both sides of the issue.
All Swindon residents are welcome to attend.
Michael said: I organised this meeting to give Swindon residents a chance to discuss this important issue.
"Members of the panel will be asked to address the question: Should we have a referendum on the EU Treaty?' although members of the public are welcome to ask the panel members other questions relating to the European Union and I hope they do so.
"I am looking forward to what I am sure will be a lively and interesting discussion and I hope residents are able to attend."
Anne said: A small number of constituents have written to me on this issue but I am looking forward to speaking to people face to face.
"As in previous meetings I have organised for local residents on ID Cards, the environment and other subjects, I believe it's vital to hear the different views there are on these issues."
