POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 52-year-old woman cyclist died near Liddington yesterday.
The woman cyclist, who is believed to be local, was in collision with a Vauxhall Corsa and a Daf skip lorry, which was unladen, at 9am.
All three were travelling up Liddington Hill on the B4192 and the collision occurred on the M4 overbridge just south of Liddington.
The cyclist, who was wearing a pink helmet and fluorescent jacket, was taken by ambulance to the Great Western Hospital, Swindon, but was pronounced dead a short time later.
Witnesses are asked to contact Pc Brewster of Sgt Conway at Swindon Gablecross on 0845 408 7000.
