Dog recovering after knife wound

THE Wiltshire police dog that responded to a violent incident in Liden, Swindon, last night (Thursday) received a knife wound to her chest.
The dog, called Anya, was monitored by a vet overnight and her condition is stable, a spokesman for Wiltshire Police said today.
The dog's handler also received stab wounds and remains in hospital but is said to recovering well.
