Man beaten to the ground by gang of thugs

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked last night by a group of five or six males in the junction of Hawthorn Avenue and Poplar Avenue, Swindon.

The man was beaten to the ground and repeatedly punched and kicked in the head.

Police were called at around 12.30am and the group were seen running away towards Cricklade road where they got into a silver Vauxhall Corsa driven by a female and left the area.
