EMERGENCY services dashed to the scene of a three-car crash near the M4 today.
Traffic built up in the area and police were advising motorists to find another route.
A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: “We were called to the A3102 Swindon Road at Spittleborough just before 1.30pm to reports of a three-vehicle collision.
“A white Mercedes panel van, a grey Vauxhall Corsa and a blue Audi A4 were involved in the crash. There were no major injuries as a result of the incident.
“Paramedics from the South Western Ambulance Service remain at the scene. We are also at the scene managing traffic.
"We would urge drivers to avoid the area for the time being. There is a minor build up of traffic.”
Royal Wootton Bassett Police said: “We have managed to get one lane open and are giving priority to traffic coming from Swindon so the M4 isn't affected.”
- The road is now clear
