TRAFFIC is being delayed on the M4 eastbound this afternoon because of an incident involving an overturned van.
Highways England says one lane is closed and very slow traffic is reported London-bound between Junction 17 for Chippenham and Junction 16 for Swindon West/Royal Wootton Bassett, because of the incident.
A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: "We were called at 2.20pm today to a report that a lorry had left the carriageway on the M4 near Junction 17, eastbound.
"The male driver of a blue Renault box van was not injured."
Highways England said normal traffic conditions were now returning to normal.
