MCARTHURGLEN Designer Outlet Swindon will be welcoming the next generation of retail stars during a two day recruitment fair beginning tomorrow.
The event, which will offer prospective candidates the opportunity to meet employers from a variety of brands, is expected to create more than 60 new roles for local residents across a number of retailers throughout the outlet.
Those attending will have the opportunity to meet with brands such as Jaeger, Osprey London, Superdry, Jack Wills and Polo Ralph Lauren, and apply for a range of positions up to supervisor and management levels.
The event will begin on Wednesday at noon and run until 4pm when there will be management positions available with Bose, Carluccio’s, Gap, Jaeger, Osprey London, Superdry, Pizza Express, Polo Ralph Lauren, Le Creuset, The White Company, Guess, The Body Shop and Reiss.
On Thursday the fair will again be held between noon and 4pm when those interested in sales and supervisor roles can find out about vacancies at Bose, Build A Bear, Fossil, Gap, Henri Lloyd, Joules, Osprey London, Pizza Express, Skechers, Starbucks, Sunglass Time, Yumi, The White Company, Jack Wills, Ed’s Easy Diner, Guess and The Body Shop.
The fair will be hosted in the centre’s exhibition dome where on-site representatives from McArthurGlen Swindon will be available to signpost candidates towards brands and suitable opportunities.
Prospective candidates are encouraged to bring hard copies of their CV to hand to retailers they’re interested in.
Tina Cumpstey, the centre manager of McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Swindon, said: “We are very much looking forward to inviting candidates into the centre again this year.
"Our recruitment days have always been a huge success for us and our retailers, and this month we hope to surpass previous events by helping an even larger number of candidates find the role they’ve been looking for.”
