Cancer survivor Bethany Robinson, eight, from Swindon, is to be presented with a Little Star award in recognition of her courage.
Bethany is a pupil at Moredon Primary and Nursery School. Her sister, Aimee, five, also attends the school where their mum, Tracy Robinson, is a teaching assistant.
As well as being presented with a Little Star trophy, from Cancer Research UK, Bethany will receive a certificate signed by a host of celebrities, including Kylie Minogue and the BBC Blue Peter presenters, Zoe Salmon and Konnie Huq.
Bethany was diagnosed with neuroblastoma - a rare cancer - when she was four months old. A tumour measuring three inches and weighing 3.5 ounces was discovered in her abdomen by doctors investigating why she was suffering convulsions.
Mrs Robinson said: "Convulsions are hereditary, so we were not too worried. But I will always be grateful to the consultant, who heard my worries, felt her tummy, and sent her for a scan."
