Swindon babe Billie Piper is believed to be tying the knot for a second time.

The Dr Who star is rumoured to be getting wed to her actor boyfriend Laurence Fox after a whirlwind romance.

A national newspaper report today claims friends of the couple have revealed they will announce their happy news any day now.

Billie and Laurence only began dating at the end of last year and there are now rumours that Billie, 24, may be pregnant.

This will be Billie's second marriage, although she still remains close friends with her first husband, DJ Chris Evans.

Laurence, 28, who stars in ITV's Lewis, is part of the Fox acting dynasty which includes his cousin Emilia, father James and uncle Edward.

A source close to the couple told today's Sun: "The Fox family is buzzing with the news that an engagement announcement is imminent.

"It seems a little sudden but everyone who's seen them together knows how incredibly in love they are.

"His family are delighted and think Billie is smashing."

The pair are currently appearing together in a play called Treats in the West End.

Last week Billie was seen crying on her ex's shoulder at a London cafe, sparking talk of a rift with her new beau.

However, it is now believed she may have been breaking news of her impending marriage.

Billie and Laurence appeared in the play Treats at the Theatre Royal, Bath from February 5 to 10.
