A section of Swindon-based Zurich Intermediary Group has won a Sales Management Team of the Year award.

The Internal Consultant Management team scooped the accolade at the National Sales Awards.

More than 1,200 sales professionals and VIPS attended the gala ceremony this week, hosted by the BBC's Kate Silverton at London's Grosvenor House Hotel.

Now in its 10th year, the coveted National Sales Awards 2007, which is sponsored by Huthwaite International, honours the country's top performing sales individuals and teams.

Jason Cripps, operations and internal consultancy director with Zurich said: "Being recognised as the best sales team is a massive achievement and something that reflects the extraordinary amount of work that the team has put in over the last two years to become truly world class."
