Town defender fined over driving ban

Swindon Town defender Andy Nicholas has been fined by the club after being convicted of drink-driving.
The 23-year-old was banned from driving for 20 months at Swindon Magistrates' Court yesterday after being arrested following an accident last week.
On the club's website manager Paul Sturrock revealed: "He has received a heavy fine from the court as well as getting a heavy fine from us."
"It won't prevent me from selecting him, but we are very disappointed."
