Power tools worth around £5,500 have been stolen from a Swindon building site.
The theft occurred some time between 5.30pm on Tuesday and 7.25am yesterday morning.
Equipment including a Honda generator, drills, electric leads and saws were taken from a locked steel storage crate at a site at Ridgeway Cottages, Foxhill.
A police spokesman said: "To remove such a large quantity of tools a vehicle would need to have been used.
"The area is fairly isolated but there's a possibility that someone may have seen some activity on the building site or a vehicle acting suspicously in the area."
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Gaskell at Swindon on 0845 408 7000.
