Commuters could not believe their eyes this morning when they arrived at Swindon railway station.
For standing among the smartly dressed travellers was an entirely out of place bunch of people dressed entirely in their pyjamas.
The daring group were fundraisers from Cancer Research UK and they donned their PJs and old-fashioned nightshirts and caps to encourage people to join with the charity's Britain's Biggest Breakfast Campaign.
The charity is asking people to organise a breakfast party, any time, any place and anywhere during March.
The organisation says a third of cancer deaths may be down to unhealthy diets and that a balanced diet will help people maintain a healthy bodyweight and reduce that risk.
Alexis Bayley, of Cancer Research, said: "Britain's Biggest Breakfast is a great way to have fun and raise money for Cancer Research at the same time."
Adrian Booth, spokesman for First Great Western, added: "We move hundreds of thousands of commuters every day and I'm sure not all of them start the day with a good breakfast inside them.
"We're delighted to help Cancer Research UK promote the good message that a healthy start helps to get your day on the right track."
