A park that has proved a must for shoppers and residents looking for fun activities has scooped gold in a prestigious award.
The Greenbridge Retail and Leisure Park's Green Force Garden Makeover' project has won a PRide accolade.
Seal Communications, the Public Relations agency for the Swindon park, devised the environment-focused community project on behalf of Greenbridge in conjunction with the borough council.
The campaign triumphed in the Best Community category in the awards, run by the PR industry's professional body - the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).
Greenbridge centre manager Kay Rigg said: "We have worked with Seal since 2005 and they continue to produce really creative campaigns, it's great to see one of them not only benefit the community, but win an award too.
"The Green Force Garden Makeover supports the council's objective to create a better Swindon by 2010 by devising, running and managing a regeneration project so this is something we've been very pleased to be involved with."
The initiative involved the public voting for a local outdoor site to be transformed. The agency worked closely with the retailers, community volunteers and schools to turn the Edinburgh Street Community Garden into a greener and safer place.
