A TEENAGER was arrested by police in Whatley Drive, in Pewsey, on Tuesday night after several reports seeing a man who they believed was drunk shouting, swearing and smashing bottles.

It is understood the man threw bottles at two homes in the street during the incident at 9.15pm before police were called. Officers found a 19-year-old local man at a nearby bus stop and he was arrested on suspicion of being a public nuisance.

A spokesman for Wiltshire Police later said the teenager had been released under investigation while officers looked into the allegations of anti-social behaviour.
