POLICE are on the look out for thieves who stole hundreds of pounds worth of garden machinery from a shed in the area of Milkhouse Water in Pewsey.

Officers are appealing for information regarding the shed burglary, where a Honda Mower, a Stihl chainsaw and a strimmer were stolen.

In light of this, police are calling on people to invest in good quality shackle padlocks, chain large items together with smaller items, install security lighting, take photos and record their make, model and serial number for power tolls and to check your insurance covers items in garages, shed and outhouses.

A police spokesman added: "Remember, tools from your shed or garage could be used to break into your home – by securing them you are making your home more secure."
