DEVIZES MP Claire Perry has announced that she will vote to remain in the European Union in the referendum to be held on June 23.
Ms Perry said: “It has always been my view that we should be given a choice regarding our relationship with Europe and I am proud that my Government is the one to finally give us an 'in/out' referendum.
"After assessing the deal that the Prime Minister secured for Great Britain, I decided that I will vote to remain IN the European Union on June 23.
"This is because I believe our economy will be stronger as part of the single market; that our country will be safer if we work with other European nations to fight crime and terrorism and also because this deal shows that, with a determined national leader, we can drive European reform in a way that benefits British interests.
"I know that many people are still undecided, and so I will do all I can to ensure my constituents get the information they need to reach a decision on 23 June so they can cast their vote with confidence in the biggest political decision we are likely to face in our lifetimes.”
