Two students were injured following a collision with a car in Wilcot this afternoon.
The students were walking in single file along a road in Wilcot when a car collided with the group. The car, driven by a local woman, then stopped.
A 15-year-old girl received non-life threatening head, chest and back injuries and was taken to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon by air ambulance.
The air ambulance crews landed on The Green, by the Golden Swan pub, before getting a lift from the police to the incident.
Another student, also 15, was taken to hospital by road ambulance for a precautionary check up, while three others were treated as walking wounded.
Wiltshire Police received the call, from the teacher in the group, at 1.30pm. They believe the students are from a London school.
