People have the chance to get crafty while enjoying a cup of coffee and supporting the Prospect Hospice Savernake Appeal at the same time.

On Saturday, December 13 the Pewsey Prospect Hospice Support group holds a coffee morning and Christmas fair in the Bouverie Hall from 9.30am to 2pm.

Visitors can enjoy stalls full of crafts and handmade products including jewellery, chocolate, hampers, leather goods, pottery, cards and photocards.

Pampered Chef and the Body Shop will have a stall as well as a beauty bar offering a variety of treatments. For the youngsters, Santa will be in his grotto giving out gifts.

Organiser Carol Parsons said: “This appeal really needs the support of everyone in the Marlborough and Pewsey area. It will help bring outpatient treatment and services closer to our residents.

“The hospice is a wonderful place with amazing staff who rely on everyone’s donations to provide treatment and support to patients and families.

"The Savernake Appeal means less travelling for patients and of course opening at Savernake will help to keep the much cherished hospital in use too."
