Pewsey will mark Remembrance Sunday with two final performances of an original play by the village’s amateur dramatics youth society – Call To Duty.
The award-winning play was written and directed by Nettie Baskcomb Brown and tells the story of Sam, whose life turns into a nightmare after his videogame turns into real warfare.
Among those expected to be in the audience will be injured soldiers from Tedworth House and World War Two veterans.
Miss Baskcomb Brown said: “It’s going to be quite touching I think. I expect there will be some tears but it’s got some funny bits too.”
Performances will be at The Bouverie Hall at 2.30pm 7.30pm on Sunday, November 9.
Tickets cost £4, £2.50 for concessions, from www.pvads.net or can be reserved via NettieBBrown@outlook.com
