Runners will mark the first day of British Summer Time in aid of Sport Relief.
Baydon Joggers group and the village’s cricket club are joining forces for the first Baydon Mile on Sunday, March 25.
One of the organisers, Harriet Knowles, said: “As a running group with members who enter various races, we decided to host our own.”
Starting at Baydon Young People’s Associ-ation, Manor Lane, at 10am, people can choose to walk, jog or run one mile. The more adventurous can choose three- or six-mile routes, all off-road, which will be clearly marked and marshalled.
Advance entry fees are £6 per adult and £3 per child via www.sportrelief.com and late entries can be made on the day.
