Axe man arrested

A 19-year-old man has been arrested after alarming residents in Ludgerhall by brandishing an axe in the middle of a road on Saturday.
The man is said to have been wandering down a road carrying an axe at around 8.30am.
He was arrested in Ludgershall at around 9am, when police received calls from several people worried about the man's actions.
The axe was recovered during the arrest and nobody is thought to have been hurt.
