COLD Harbour Lane in Marlborough will be shut from January 15 to February 23 while engineering works are carried out.
The lane will be shut between its junction with Poulton Hill and the junction with North View Place.
The closure is due to take place to allow Scottish and Southern Electric to lay new HV electric cable in the carriageway.
Residents and businesses on the street will be able to access the road but Wiltshire Council has warned of delays during this time as a diversion route is put in place the divert traffic via North View Place to the A346 Port Hill, along Herd Street and into St Martins.
