The Prince of Wales visited the Ramsbury Estate to receive a tour of the on-site brewery and meet its distillers who produce vodka and gin there.
Prince Charles is patron of the Prince’s Countryside Fund which was founded in 2010 and provides up to £1.2 million in grants to British farmers across the countryside.
The Ramsbury Estate includes over 19,000 acres of land in North East Wiltshire, West Berkshire and North Hampshire. The estate's farms are centred on the village of Ramsbury where it produces award-winning cask and bottled beers, as well as single estate gin and vodka.
After his visit to the distillery, the prince met local school children and attended a Christmas reception for the estate’s tenants at The Bell pub in Ramsbury.
