THIEVES stole a pair of valuable bikes from a garage in Lockeridge.

Police believe that the bikes were part of a targeted incident to steal the high priced goods.

Between October 9 and 11, a garage at a family home in Glebe Meadows, was broken into via a side window, and the two road bikes were stolen.

The family are desperate to see their prized possessions returned.

One of the bikes was attached to a motorbike using a heavy duty chain which was broken through to take bicycle.

The bikes was an extremely rare Cervelo S3 with carbon fibre wheels that was green, black and white in colour.

The second bike stolen was a blue Trek Madone.

A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “It would appear that this was a targeted burglary – these bikes are extremely expensive and one in particular is very unusual.

"The family are desperate for the return of these bikes and we would appeal to anyone who may have information either about the incident itself, or the whereabouts of the bikes, to please call 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
