FAMILIES and steam enthusiasts spent the day exploring the Crofton Beam Engines steaming weekend yesterday, as the 200 year old engines were fired up.
Open again today and on Bank Holiday Monday from 10.30- 4.30pm, the engines will be running for a reduced time from 11-4pm because of low water levels at Wilton Water reserve.
The site is located in Crofton near Marlborough and expert mechanics and staff allow visitors to get up close to the working engines.
