ITEMS of jewellery, watches and cash were stolen from a property in Ogbourne St George.
At around 11pm on Friday, May 26, in Southend, a burglary took place and police believe the offender(s) were disturbed so there may have been people running off or vehicles travelling from the area at speed.
They are asking that anyone who saw such activity comes forward. Officers are also particularly interested to hear from anyone who saw vehicles parked up in the area or anyone acting suspiciously that evening or on the days leading up to May 26.
The Police notice of this incident said: "It is important to remind all residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour also please ensure that you review your home security, even in the hot weather all doors and windows should be kept secure overnight."
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Salisbury CID on 101 or, if preferred, call Crimestoppers where information may be left anonymously.
