CHUNKS of the Marlborough College wall were dislodged after a Waitrose delivery lorry hit into it.
At around 5pm on Wednesday, police received a call reporting that the truck had collided into the bridge in Bath Road and clipped the brick-work.
The road was closed for around two hours while the damage to the bridge was assessed.
