MARLBOROUGH'S High Street is seeing something of a resurgence after British clothing giant Jack Wills opened a new outlet in Marlborough High Street on Wednesday (May 10).
The new store, at 95 High Street, will fill the void left by independent home decor trader Charlotte Quest, which closed down and left the Grade II listed building last Spring.
In recent months vacant shops along the High Street have been filled by Bobbi Brown cosmetics, a travel agent and a Superdrug too.
CEO and founder Peter Williams said: "We are absolutely thrilled to be opening our latest store in the stunning market town of Marlborough and hope that it will add a premium shopping destination to the rustic charm of the town’s High Street.
"The opportunity to open a store in a great property and such an iconic location was simply too good to miss."
This will be the brand’s second venture into Wiltshire, including the Designer Outlet in Swindon.
