A DOZEN talented youngsters from St John's Marlborough did battle in front of an audience of over 200 people for their X Factor live final.
The 12 contestants sang their hearts out but it was Year 13 pupil Ann Liu Cannon who finished triumphant.
She and her friends were then treated to a one-hour limousine ride on Friday afternoon (December 16).
On top of the pupils' performances, the audience enjoyed a Spice Girls tribute act from the teachers which raised the roof.
The competition was organised by Kelly Matyla, the Head of Drama at St John’s, and after weeks of planning the final proved to be a huge success.
"This is my first talent night here at St John’s and I am so looking forward to making this an annual event. I am so proud of the talent at St John’s and also of the hardworking backstage crew of pupils," she said.
