PROSPECT Hospice will make their Christmas Fair debut on Saturday with a festive celebration in Marlborough Town Hall.

More than 35 stalls will be on display at the venue from 10am-4pm, in aid of the hospice.

Guests will be treated to gift ideas, decorations, games and edible delights on offer with the sound of the Wanborough Handbell ringers, Ukey Dukes and the Pewsey Belles - and there's even a chance to meet Santa in his grotto.

Prospect Hospice’s Marlborough community fundraiser Mike Kennedy said: “I think people will be very pleasantly surprised by what we have on offer at the fair on Saturday, and will find some great gift ideas for the whole family on the wide variety of stalls that will be there.”

Mike believes that the goodwill in the town for the charity, which has supported around 200 new patients in the area in the last year, will help to boost the number of people who come along to the event:

“The people of Marlborough are incredible in their support for their local hospice care and we would love to see many of our supporters join us at the Christmas Fair. I’m looking forward to greeting them at the Town Hall this Saturday.”
